Simple SEF breaks Shout box (IE only) -- shows only time of shout.

When the user types a message, when the screen refresh only shows the time...

this problem is present only with Internet Explorer.....
SMF: 2.0 RC4
Simple Portal 2.3.3

Update: I think that the problem is located in Themes/default/scripts/portal.js
Update2: When I turn off SimpleSEF the problem is solved, When I turn on the problem presist only in IE

Thanks for the information on this incompatibility between Simple SEF and the SimplePortal shout box.
I hope you won't mind if I ask you for some more information:
 
* Which version of IE were you using when you observed the problem?
* When SimpleSEF is on, does the problem prevent IE users' shouts from being stored?
* Or does the problem only prevent IE users from seeing some shouts?
* When you turned SimpleSEF off, did the "invisible" shouts show up again?

With Internet Explorer 6, 7 and 8...

With SimpleSEF the shout are stored... to see the shouts you must refresh(F5) because if you send the shout them only shows the time...

if I turn SimpleSEF off... the problem disappears.

Thank you for that information.  I don't know how to fix this problem.  I hope you have also informed SimpleSEF's developer of the problem.  I am going to move this to the feature request board -- you would like to request compatability with SimpleSEF.
 
If SimpleSEF's developer is also interested in compatability, the two teams can probably figure this out.
