  • {OCS}MasterSeal: I know this SB isnt' for support, but I just have a general question. Who would I contact to find out where SP stores its block info? Is it DB driven or files? I searched the site but came up with nothing. probably my fault any insight is appreciated.

Help -- SMF Gallery block

hi i use simple audio video embedder and i also paid for smf gallery pro with video addon, can i make the code display more thumbnail vids on the side(like 4 or 5 more), i only see there is 1 main video and a smaller video window on the side

I am familiar with AEVA and AEME.  I don't know about those other mods. You might ask the author for help on how to do that.

It all depends on what you ask, probably.  If you ask him to make the product work with SimplePortal -- maybe he does not feel interested in that.  So don't ask him about SimplePortal.
 
Just tell him you want to get more out of his mod. Ask him if his code has stuff in it you can use to create the kind of display you want. Sounds like maybe the mod already has a display that is kind of like what you want. You may also wind up getting help from other users of the mod. You'll have to decide where (simplemachines.org or his own site) you are likely to get more people to see and possibly help with your question.
 
Once you learn how to write the code, there will probably be no issues with putting it into a custom php block.
 
On the other hand, if you really want someone else to figure this out for you, you can always hire someone for this small job at simplemachines.org.

I was afraid I would still have to learn to right code for this. the program already has ssi functions but i don't know how to make those images scrollable or just auto scrolling.
