Hi. I have a request for a "Special" Block.

I own a Virtual School Bus Transportation Company, A+ Transportation. Its doesn't have many users. However, I am looking for a special block.

There is a Special Form you need to fill out every week on my forum. Is there anyway I can make a Block that tells them that its time to fill out the form or even tell them that the form is past due.

I am still installing SimplePortal, but I would really like to have this block. However, it has to go off like a alarm on the homepage when it is past due.

Of course you can do this.
First you need
* Some way to store the information about the forms as they get filled out.
* Some way to check who filled out a form.
* Some way to check the week that the form is about
* Some way to check whether the form for a certain week has been filled out
* A decision on what the deadline is for each form.
* A way to say  which forms are missing for each user.
 
Then, you will be able to write some code to check whether a certain user has any missing forms.
If you've never done this kind of thing before, it may take some time.
