Installing Simple Portal
« on: May 10, 2011, 11:07:53 AM »
I checked all the post and couldnt find the answers i need so i hope i can just make a new post.
I installed SMF 2 and its working great
I downloaded SimplePortal 2.3.3 to the same directory that the index.php is in for the smf.
when i go to my server file /install1-1.php i get this
Fatal error: Call to undefined function db_query() in /home/content/87/7836287/html/web/install1-1.php on line 447
but when i go to  /install2.php i get
This tool will prepare your database to work with SimplePortal. It will also fix database issues related to SimplePortal, if there are any.
its showing that it installed databases but i cant go any further ie: how do i access my simple portal ?? i cant find any index.php except the one for the forum..
Thx

SimpleMachines Forum must be installed first. This is because SimplePortal is a mod for simplemachines.
Please read the SimplePortal documentation, starting at http://simpleportal.net/index.php?action=docs to learn more about SimplePortal and SMF.
