Topic: shoutbox and internet explorer 9

hi i'm using ie9 now. and its really cool and fast.... but the problem is simpleportal shoutbox not refreshing automatically with ie9. any idea why or how can i fix that???

When you try the same page with other browsers, SimplePortal's shoutbox automatically refreshes?
Are you having any other javascript problems when you use the newly-installed IE9?

yes another problem happen in facebook layout. but other sites just working fine. and sb refresh when i use mozilla or chrome.

I am not familiar with IE9.  Nobody here is. Do you have javascript turned off? Do you have some security setting that disables javascript on some websites? Are you getting javascript errors in the left side of the status bar at the bottom of your browser window?

I have now tested with IE9. Here at SimplePortal, the shoutbox works just fine.
What do you see when you check this shoutbox at SimplePortal.net?
If it works here, but not on your forum, the tricky thing is to figure out what is different about the two forums.
