I am using SMF 2.0 RC5 with SimplePortal. On the main page I have the list of the recent topics. Is it possible to have on the frame of recent topics - button start new topic? On the simplemachines.org some users told me that it is possible on simple portal by adding a block. After clicking on the new topic, there should be also a choose of categories..

Just to be clear:

2.0 RC4 + Simple Portal

On the main site of my forum I have the list of recent topics (made in Simple Portal). On the top right border I would like to have a button - START NEW TOPIC, where user will ba able to write new topic and what is very important CHOOSE THE CATEGORY. If anyone needs more clarifications please write in this topic or on PM.
