How to leave blocks ON on Forum page?
« on: September 25, 2012, 07:57:57 PM »
Hello everyone,

I had just installed SP and I love it. So easy with the install and basic stuff. Now, when I deicide to go with it, I need some basic help.

For example, I cant find an opcion to leave blocks ON Forum page. when I go to FORUM page, left and rigts blocks are gone. Here on SP we got good example that the left coloumn of blocks is ON.

Under Admin: Simple Portal > Configuration > Block Settings - I had set up that option for block, and it seems isnt working?! Can evenyone help...?

Hello and welcome to Simple Portal.
I have moved your topic to the support board -- that is the best place to ask for support.

Two things control whether you see the any block areas (such as the left and right columns).
1) Whether that block area is enabled (as you did by enabling right and left side blocks, and allowing them in the forum)
2) Whether there are any blocks to see in that block area on that page

Please Edit a block. Look at the block's display options.  Is it set to display in the Portal only, or Everywhere?
Please to keep this website running, if you like SimplePortal, make a
one-time subscription. Thank you for your support.

Have you tried the SimplePortal documentation?

Thank You AngelinaBelle ;)  Got it. It was set "Portal" on everyone of them, so user cant see it on Forum page. Its very easy.

I will move this to the support board, and mark it "solved" if that is OK with you.
