I was wondering, simply because I haven't seen anything for it, if there is some sort of means to add a video from youtube or even your own file to a post, much like an image. Such a feature would be very usefull to my forum page. Please PM me if there is such a way, because i'm sure I will lose this thread by tomorrow.

You can use:

Aeva Media

or

Simple Audio Video Embedder

Both these mods will allow you to just enter the url for auto-embedding.

You also have the option of using bbcodes written specifically for youtube which require the poster to use the video id#.

There is also:

Custom BBcode
(requires registration to d/l this one..  )
.. in which case you enter bbcodes for youtube and the divx player for your own vids.
BBC Threads with needed codes (<- Read threads with codes for custom bbc modification)
