Blocks speak! Do you have an interest in getting more blocks - or even making your own? The Blocks Board is for you!

RSS Block does not show anything!
« on: October 02, 2012, 04:37:39 AM »
I have this rss feed in the simple rss block:

http://www.gnitter.de/index.php?realm=madmortem&guild=Orden_des_Sturms

What works is the headline.

All images and links are not working. What I need to change that also represented correctly?

First, I would like to make sure what you are doing and seeing.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
You have selected the RSS block, and you have checked the box next to "content".
You see some content, but the HTML (links and images) are missing from that content.

Is this what you are talking about?

If this is so, then you need to do this:
In the option, which is called in English "Tags to Preserve:", put all the HTML tags which you would wish to allow.
In your case, this should be a, img, and any other tags that you might wish to preserve from the RSS feed.
This will allow those tags, and only those tags, to show up in your RSS feed.
Now that you are allowing HTML tags, you must set your character limit to -1.  This will set no character limit, and will prevent your content from being cut off.  Cutting off the content can be disasterous for your entire page if it happens in the middle of an open tag (something like <a href="http://... will result, which can break your entire page).

I am glad.  I will move this to English Support (no custom coding is required) and mark it solved.
