Adding Page to a forum question
« on: September 04, 2011, 09:16:02 PM »
Yes, I know the mod is out there for the team page. But I don't want the mod for the team page. I thought SimplePortal can do that.

But I am looking at that site he/her post in this topic.

Staff Page or this one SP Team

Because looking at the staff page on that site. It did give me a idea about the pages with SimplePortal. With that mod you post on here.

Put a page up for every team member and some info about them. I mean the main staff.

But Also I would like to add some site to the other button to go to different sites. If I wanna do to that.

That part i really don't understand at all

Hi Shadow Queen,
That's a lot of questions. I'm not sure I understand them all.
How about 1 question at a time?

The "Team Page" mod was written by the DreamPortal team. But some SimplePortal users are reporting that it works for them. http://simpleportal.net/index.php?topic=5960.msg41262#msg41262

I know you have said you do not want it, but I will recommend it because it is already available. Anything else -- you would have to write yourself, or find someone to write for you.

Have you tried the SimplePortal documentation?

Only reason I said I didn't want the mod. Because I try it install on my forum.  And I am getting a database error.

The mod is for 20 R3 Version and I have the 2.0 Gold

Here is the error I am getting

Database Error
Table 'mykingdo_test.smf_team' doesn't exist
File: /home/mykingdo/public_html/test/Packages/temp/smf2/install.php
Line: 70

How can I correct this error?

Snow Queen you would be best to ask for help on this mod on sm.org or at dream-portal.net where the mod originates from.

If you are having trouble installing mods, you can use the "edit" icon to see exactly what part of the install is causing the problem.
This happens because some other mod has already made a nearby change, so the mod's installer cannot find the correct part of the file any longer.
This is a common install problem. You can read more about it at
http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Error_in_mod_installation
 and
http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Manual_Installation_of_Mods

But your original question was about how to add new buttons to your navigation bar?
