How to change height my posts in new posts block? I have embed video from Youtube 640 x 480 px and I want smaller posts in there (check my site if You don't understand me).

Chodzi o blok z wpisami dodanymi jako artykuły?
Are you talking about block with articles?

You are using AEVA Media to embed videos in those posts, and you are using boardnews to display them on the front page, and you want the embedded videos to be smaller.

If you simply force a smaller size for each article in function sp_boardNews, that would not look right. Are you using one of AEVA's tags to embed the video, or are you just putting the link to the video in?

AEVA BBC tags have options for controlling the size of the embedded video, don't they?

Yes i put links into posts. But when I change size video to smaller then all the video in posts will be small. I want to have this effect:
Orginal posts - 100% size video
Board News - 70 - 80% size video

I understand now, perfectly, why you want this.

Achieving this would require some custom coding, also involving javascript. This would be similar to how SimplePortal uses javascript to resize images on the portal page.

Only, it seems to me this would be a little more copmplicated because the resize needs to be done in several places -- the table, the table cell, the object. And there is a piece of AEVA javascript to contend with, as well. It looks like it may also be trying to set the object size.

Would you like me to move this to the custom coding section, and rename your post to attract the attention of customizers?
Code: [Select]

I have example to do this:
Code: [Select]
<?php

$string
= <<<XML

XML;
$xml = simplexml_load_string($string);
echo "Original Width/Height:".$xml->attributes()->width."px/".$xml->attributes()->height."px
";

$newwidth = 280;
$newheight = ($xml->attributes()->height / $xml->attributes()->width) * $newwidth;

echo "New Width/Height:".$newwidth."px/".$newheight."px
";

echo <<<HTML

HTML;
?>

This is a little bit more complicated than that.
Do you understand how image resizing works? There are several steps to it, and they involve a combination of php and javascript. This would have to be done in a similar fashion.
