Something wrong with pages
« on: May 30, 2010, 11:38:01 AM »
This is just a minor problem I'm having, and I think it could be fixed with a setting, but I don't know which one, exactly.
Pages only show up on: http://forums.thekirbyclub.net/
and I want pages to show up on http://thekirbyclub.net.
Is there some way to fix this?

Showing pages on the main index.php but not the Standalone.php file is intended behavior (so its not a bug).

I can post an altered Standalone.php file if you want it to show pages as well.

Are we talking about showing pagination with articles?

Have you tried the SimplePortal documentation?

Maybe, I thought that the request was asking for custom pages to be accessible from the standalone file.

So, 'http://thekirbyclub.com/index.php?page=id' will show the same as 'http://forums.thekirbyclub.com/index.php?page=id'.

I have attached an altered PortalStandalone.php file that can do that.

Yep, that's exactly what I needed. Thank you, Nathaniel!
Edit: Well, actually, I replaced the old file with the one you gave me, and I get this messege: "Wrong $forum_dir value. Please make sure that the $forum_value variable points to your forum's directory."

That's because the file I uploaded doesn't have the correct $forum_dir value for your forum, you will have to change that within the file (as you normal do for the StandalonePortal.php file).
