[SOLVED] Settings to allways see the blocks = ?
« on: May 16, 2010, 07:21:17 AM »
Hello,
I'm new to both SMF & SimplePortal, confusing but I really liking it all. :)
I cannot however figure out or find any information of how to "keep" the portal regardless on "where you are". Got the frontpage down and all, but as soon as I go to the forumpart it goes away. Would love to have it as you have it here aka constantly around. What am I missing? I'm not asking for step to step instructions, but would love to have someone to point me in the direction of where I can read about it.

[EDIT]
nm I figured it out.

ACP > Admin > SimplePortal > Blocks > Choose [modify] on the block in question > Scroll down to [Display Options] > Play around

I overcomplicated it in my head based on previous portals I have been using, never figured it was this easy. ;)

That's one of the nicest things you could have said!

Have you tried the SimplePortal documentation?

You were easy to please!  8)

Even so ... I really really like this portal due to it's simplicity and I have been using and testing A L O T of various forums + portals.
So you really deserve a good pat on the back for this. :)

I will pass that on to the developers.

P.S. We're working on some user documentation. More on that soon!
