CSS and Pages
« on: August 13, 2010, 01:14:12 AM »
SMF 1.1.11
SP 2.3.1

I am trying to make a page using the Simple Portal HTML page creator with an internal style sheet and the formating is not working.  I was just wondering do I need to put my style sheet options in the external stylesheet for my theme to get them to work?

Thanks

Yes, you do. As SP blocks do not control the header.

Either that or have the style sheet as an inline tag in the block itself

Add

Code: [Select]
<?php require("/home/*******/public_html/SSI.php");
$context['page_title_html_safe'] = 'title of the page goes here';
template_header();
echo
'

Your content goes here'
;

template_footer(); ?>

Edit path to ssi.php and add page name

voila

That would just duplicate the smf headers... as well as double call functions.

The suggestions by ccbtimewiz seems sound:

1) use inline style= options or
2) Add them to portal.css
