link problem with SFM 1.1.12 and Simple Portal 2.3.3
« on: November 18, 2010, 12:14:13 PM »
I have a link problem with SFM 1.1.12 and Simple Portal 2.3.3.
When I click on a member and choose show all posts of this member I am able to navigate to the post/topic of this member. Also if I click on The Board via show all posts of this member it jumps to the Board.

Unfortunately if I click on A Category via show all posts of this member it doesn't jump to the Category but instead of it jumps to the portal (Simple Portal)

I want to stay in my Forum and not jumping to The portal (Home Page)

Does somebody know how to make the needed adaptions in the script?

Unfortunately if I click on A Category via show all posts of this member it doesn't jump to the Category but instead of it jumps to the portal (Simple Portal)

SimplePortal does not mess with the contents of ?action=profile or ?action=profile;area=showposts.

At ?action=profile, I can "Show Posts". (?action=profile;area=showposts;u=xxxx).  From there, I can see a list of messages.  Each one has a link to board and to the message.
The available "Show Posts" buttons are
* Messages (?action=profile;area=showposts;sa=messages)
* Topics (?action=profile;area=showposts;sa=topics)
* Attachments (?action=profile;area=showposts;sa=attach)

I do not see any link to "A Category" anywhere on this page.
Is this link created by some other mod?

The available "Show Posts" buttons are:
* Messages (?action=profile;area=showposts;sa=messages)
* Topics (?action=profile;area=showposts;sa=topics)
* Attachments (?action=profile;area=showposts;sa=attach)

Does this mean that it is not possible to jump to a category via show all posts of this member?

Maybe we have to add a rule like:

Boards(?action=profile;area=showposts;sa=boards)

In what php file do you see those showposts rules?

I am just looking at the HTML.
And, actually, I am looking at SMF 2.0.
Knowledge of 1.1.x is fading from my mind, I am sorry to say.

I assume this stuff is handled in Profile.php and Profile.template.php, but I have not looked.

I am glad this is working. What mod do you use to jump to "a category"?
