The following portal page isn't giving me a 500 error: http://forumav.net/Forum/Portal/index.php

Are you still getting that error?

I was able to fix my the internal server error message. But now it´s apening the follwing in the home tab (Portal) ,when i login, it redirects me to forum and it appears my forum member name, but when i go back to portal page no name appears in the login (as if i was not logged). Every time i login it aceppts my log in the forum but in Portal page never appear my name as logged.

See picture below it allawys shows the login area as if i was not logged....

This is unusual -- to have the portal page in a subdirectory of the forum.
I guess this is temporary -- you intend to move www.forumnav.net/index.php to www.forumnav.net/Forum/index.php, and use a standalone portal at www.forumnav.net?

It might be easier to install simpleportal to www.forumnav.net/index.php and use it in front-page mode.

The first thing I would check would be the settings at
index.php?action=admin;area=serversettings;sa=cookie

Usually,
Enable local storage of cookies (unchecked)
Use subdomain independent cookies (checked)
Use database driven sessions (checked)

will work OK.

If changing these settings doesn't help, please check back.
Support here is at a seasonal low, unfortunately, and you might be able to get some answers to cookie and session questions at simplemachines.org.

Please to keep this website running, if you like SimplePortal, make a
one-time subscription. Thank you for your support.

Have you tried the SimplePortal documentation?
