Topic: Blog Block - Question/Problem?

Here's what I got:

SMF Version: 2 RC4
SP Version: 2.3.3

Here's the question:

Which Blog programs does the Blog block in SP support?

I have the ADK blog installed.  When I go to use the blog block....it says:

"There are no blog mods installed."

Major Bummer.

Steer me in the right direction....tell me which blog mods the block will support and I will use those.

To find the answer to your question, I looked in PortalBlocks.php
It appears that the only blog currently supported by SimplePortal is zCommunity.

I kinda thought that was what that block was sorta built around, mainly.  I used to use zCommunity...but there hasn't been a revision from Chuck Hill since....ohhhh...I would say SMF 1.1.8, perhaps.  I may be mistaken.

Would there be a way for me to modify it or perhaps create a block for the ADK blog mod?  It's certainly not as fancy at zCommunity was, but it'll do for my purposes.

Just wondering.  If this is the wrong area to ask, please accept my apologies. I've been out of the loop for a long while due to a personal family crisis...and am just getting up to speed again with SMF and Simple Portal.  Things look FANTASTIC, though.  I love what's been done with the site!

You certainly could take a look in PortalBlocks.php and see if you can get it to work with ADK blog.  It might not even be all that hard.
