Scriptalizer problem
« on: May 13, 2010, 01:24:14 AM »
i have upgrade my simpleportal version to 2.3.2 and i want to minify my forum css using scriptalizer from http://scriptalizer.com

i minify the index.css, print.css and portal.css into one css called scriptalizer.css.
and i was successfully change my index.css and print.css to scriptalizer.css in index_template.php.
but i cant see the option to change portal.css to scriptalizer.css. can someone here tell me what file i must edit it?

thanks,
Hawd

ohh forgot to mention:
scriptalizer is an online web to minify and merge more than one css or javascript. so instead of using two or more css and make your web load slow because of many of http request, you can minify the request for css.
so index.css, print.css, etc can merge into one css called"scriptalizer.css and you only have to use that to all css.

sorry for my bad english............ :-X

You can find it in Sources subs-portal.php

Do you notice big improvements in load time when you minify the CSS files?
If you are going to do a lot of customization, you should know that, on a Windows PC, you can go use the find command to search files, and you can pipe it through more

So start the command prompt, change directories to any directory with php files in it:
Code: [Select]
find /i /n "portal.css" *.php | more

Have you tried the SimplePortal documentation?
