How to change it so it's compatible with the template? It looks weird.

First, copy portal.css into your theme's css directory, then have a look at this thread and see if adding the div tag and removing the span tag doesn't fix your problem, it worked on my forum.

also, it looks like you're missing a couple of image files as well

Here are the steps for the first part, try this and see if it corrects your problem.

You will need ftp or ssh access to your forum's files in order to do this.

navigate to your forum's directory, then navigate to Themes -> default -> css and COPY (do NOT remove) the file portal.css.

Once you have that file copied navigate to Themes -> [your custom theme] -> css and put portal.css in that directory.

For good measure clear your forum's cache by going to your admin panel, click on the admin link in your top menu on the forum, then go to Maintenance -> Forum Maintenance -> Empty the file cache and click the "Run task now" button.

This step should NOT be necessary, but it won't hurt and it will make sure that all browsers are reading the most current copies of your files.

Did that help?

If not, can you start from the beginning, and be very specific about how far you get through the instructions?

Thanks

I tried it, bu moving the css file, didnt help. I also tried the other part, in the link.

In my own topic, I wrote what worked in 2.3.3 to fix it, if you want, i can write it at bit more detailed.

Dafe,

Have you tried the upgrade to Simple Portal 2.3.4? I am thinking it might solve this problem for you.
