Topic: Pulling announcments from wrong boards!

Hello,
First of all, THANKS SO MUCH FOR MAKING SIMPLEPORTAL! I've tested a lot of portals that work with SMF, and none is better then SimplePortal. Anyways, I'm having trouble with the front page announcments. I had recently converted my MyBB installation to SMF. And needed to install a portal for front page announcements and so on. SimplePortal is pulling the wrong announcements from the wrong boards But when i delete THAT board, it goes to another and starts pulling post(s) from that one. I have no idea whats going on. If anyone can please help me, i need to get the site back up as soon as possible.

What do you mean? What are you using to tell simple portal where your announcements are?

I couldn't find any specific setting to specify which board to pull announcements from. I tried everything. I even deleted the board it kept pulling posts from to post on the portal page, but then it moved on to another board and started pulling those posts.

maybe define what you mean about announcements. are you referring to articles?

As far as I know simple portal does not automatically pull articles from any boards. members with the correct permissions can add articles to your front page, and you can create a block that will pull random articles. but that is the only auto mated article system I am aware of.

Are you using Articles? Are you using a BoardNews block?
