add a block and forum staff
« on: September 02, 2011, 01:15:33 PM »
i have two problems and to be more specific,
i enclose two sceenshots....

the first one is when i am going to add blocks,
as you can see,item in circle are in a mess...
Can i fix it?

and the second is forum staff.
One people was a moderator but now has gone away.
I change his rights in forum but she remains in forum staff
and this make some confusals....
How can i remove from the list?
member with the red square means full member....

Thnaks for any reply.

Hi

for the first question:

go to /themes/default/css/portal.css

and find:

Code: [Select]
#sp_select_block_type div.sp_content_padding
{
height: 100px;
padding-top: 0pt;
padding-right: 1em;
padding-bottom: 0pt;
padding-left: 1em;
}

and modify the propier

height: 100px; to height: 120px; or height: 150px;

For u second question is may be probably u forget to "chloe" in any forum has moderator u can try review all forum and sub forum

visualuser,

Sapinho's advice sounds reasonable.
1) Did the css modifications work for you?
2) Were you able to find out why "chloe" was still in the staff block?

thanks for the answer,
i modify it according your instructions to 150 and now looks fine...
Infact that is very strange.... cause this was unexpectable,
suddenly portal.css need height from 100 to 150... is that strange?

concering the fact moderator...
no i cannot find why she remains in forum staff....
is a member that she cannot write furthermore so she is competely out of the forum.
Which file is that forum staff is looking to?

The forum staff block is generated by analyzing the groups you defined using MySQL. It returns all members found  in those groups.

You should check to see if that member still remains in the group-- because banned or not, they will continue to show until you remove their group. In addition, be sure to check their additional groups as well.

Here is how the sp_staff block works
1) Find out all the local moderators listed in the moderators table
2) Find out all the global moderators -- those who belong to membersAllowedTo('moderate_board)
3) Find out everyone who has permission to 'admin_forum'
Chloe must be listed for 1 of these 3 reasons.
Please check the primary group and additional groups for Chloe.
What groups does she belong to?
Which of these groups have "moderate board" permission (in General section)?
Is Chloe a moderator on any of your boards?
