  • {OCS}MasterSeal: I know this SB isnt' for support, but I just have a general question. Who would I contact to find out where SP stores its block info? Is it DB driven or files? I searched the site but came up with nothing. probably my fault any insight is appreciated.

Hello again

My Top Poster Block takes a large piece of my portal. My block shows the ten person who has the most post in the forum. too large.

how can I do to what my block of Top Poster gets the efect in scroll?

You can use the <marquee> tag to cause scrolling, and you can set the height as you please.

Please read about the marquee tag: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=html+marquee+tag . For example, http://www.htmlmarquee.com/
The file to edit is PortalBlocks.php. You will want to find function sp_topPoster
Inside that function, find
Code: [Select]
echo '
        <table class="sp_fullwidth">';
And stick your <marquee> tag before the table tag.
Then, find
Code: [Select]
echo '
        </table>';
and stick your </marquee> tag after the </table> tag, to tell the browser where the marquee section ends.
