Topic: shoubox at least 10 members

How can I put shoubox at least 10 members that first reports are posted
I mean they must first do 10 post before see te shoutbox.

hi wiecher, the option more easy can be this:

In the forum menu you go to:

admin/user/user group/manage user group

in this panel go down and here u must have some groups by default "Groups based on the message count"

here u must edit the second group and modify the field "number of menssages required and set to 10 save and now go to the menu of simple portal, and search u shoutbox and edit it.

In the panel of editor of shoutbox go to

Permit Type: One type group

and click the link "Select the permissions for each group" and here u select what group see the shoutbox.

Note u must unselect the first group based on the message count

Please be very specific about what you have done. If you have set this up properly, and it does not work, then there is a bug. If there is a bug, then I want to know about it.  Thanks for your help.

Here is the procedure you would follow:
1) Create a count-based membergroup, where 10 posts or more are required to belong to the group
2) Change Block Permissions for the block.  Select the link [ Select permissions for each group ], uncheck ALL the boxes. Then check only the membergroups you wish to see the block. Make certain guests and regular members are unchecked.

3) Make sure that Permission Settings for the block are set to One Membergroup

De bedoeling is dus enkel de shoutbox te zien krijgen als je reeds 10 posten hebt geplaatst op het foum

1) eerst moet je een nieuwe ledengroep aanmaken waarvan ze dus maar vanaf 10 posten toebehoren ( beheer --- ledengroepen --- Ledengroep toevoegen -- Deze ledengroep is gebaseerd op aantal berichten: aanvinken en het aantal berichten invullen (10) de boards aanvinken die ze mogen zien en opslaan )
2) dan ga je naar je settings van je shoutbox in het beheer daar moet je permissies van de shoutbox aanpassen. selecteer de link (selecteer permissies per groep)
alle vinkjes weghalen bij de groepen, daarna selecteer je enkel deze groep die je juist aangemaakt hebt

3) vink dan Permissie Type: Een ledengroep aan
4) opslaan

als je dit zo doet zou het moeten werken
