Do you mean how many articles to show per page?
If this is what you mean, please see http://simpleportal.net/index.php?action=docs;area=setup_articles

I'm almost sure that you aren't using the articles feature but the Board News block. Go to:

Admin > SimplePortal > Blocks

Edit the Board News and change the Posts Per Page setting.
And slowly, you come to realize... It's all as it should be...

I want to make sure I understand, before I send you off on some wild goose chase.
Please answer these questions below.
1) Are we talkinga about a board news block on your portal page?
2) If this is a board news block, what settings did you use for it?
3) How many boards did you select to appear in this board news block?
4) How many messages, total, are you seeing in this board news block?
5) How many messages do you think should be showing in this board news block?
Thanks. I hope we'll be able to help you once we get this information.

Thanks for your patience

You should make sure the settings for Board News block are:

Posts Per Page: {number of posts you want to display on a single page}
Topics to Display: ({number of posts you want to display on a single page} x {number of pages you want})

Example:

If I wanted to 5 pages that displayed 3 topics/posts on each page, my settings would be:

Posts Per Page: 3
Topics to Display: 15
And slowly, you come to realize... It's all as it should be...
