SP-Shoutbox Problem
« on: October 23, 2010, 01:20:53 AM »
I having a Shoutbox problem in SMF.

First I added shoutbox in SP.

After that I added a shoutbox block and take preview. It shows like that, not working.

I found, that problem is somewhere in database sql tables, but don't know where!

Actualy I installed fresh copy of SMF then install SP, shout box working fine.

But when i upload my backup sql table and then install SP all block works except shout box.

Very confuse where is the problem!

Do you get any more specific errors in your forum error log relating to that block?

You said that everything was working fine on a FRESH copy of SMF, with only SimplePortal installed, but stopped working when  you imported your SQL backup.

I have two questions about that SQL backup:
* Did that backup include any SimplePortal data (it will stay there even after an uninstall unless you use the "remove data" option when you uninstall)
* Did that backup come from a forum where you had any other mods besides SimplePortal installed?

Have you tried the SimplePortal documentation?
