Right Blocks not Displaying
« on: July 23, 2010, 01:03:34 AM »
Hello!

I just upgraded from SimplePortal 2.3.1 to 2.3.2. Now, none of the right side blocks are showing. I have checked to make sure they were active, and even turned off the ability to collapse the columns. I have also gone so far as to delete the blocks and recreate them. So far, nothing is working. Any ideas as to what I can do to remedy this issue?

Thanks

I don't know the reason for this.
Are you using the default theme? Did this work properly in SimplePortal 2.3.1?
Did you check the widths for left, medium, and right columns?

I guess you have xHTML errors in your theme (And, this probably not closing a <td> tag error). You can test you theme here:

Yes -- that could be the cause.

I had this before. Try these:

1. Disable all mode except SP, if this works out then check which mode causes the problem. Aeva light/gallery is most likely the problem.
2. Check if you have any post that uses  tag which includes some javascripts.

Good luck.

I would not suggest installing TP and SimplePortal on the same forum  :)

But I agree that, in some cases, checking other mods one by one can help track down the source of the problem.

submitting the HTML to the validator really can help.
