Topic: end of block non matching graphic

Hi guys..

First post and also first time using SP..

I've installed SMF and all's well. I then installed SP and all installed correctly I think but I've noticed a problem no matter what theme I'm on these left end pieces on the block titles dont match?

I've included a picture..

I'm not the best at php... far from it, but on viewing the source.. would this bit have something to do with it.. and if so where would I edit it?

ok sussed what I need to change by comparing the source.. I just need to know where these values are held if possible..

I need to remove the left span bit.. and also insert a couple of lines.. example below..

simple fix open your ftp look in theme/default/images/theme
delete main_block.png
done

Hi fella,

thanks for the reply. I've just renamed that file and it has removed it but it's got no end cap on it now.. I managed to find a little bit of code in the source folder / portalblock.php. I've changed this and it has fixed one of them but it's still not fixing the others.... lost where that code is coming from, looked in about 20 files so far !

Replace your main_block.png
Go to default CSS folder copy portal.css and paste it in your theme css folder. Job done.

Do not delete main_block.png. Do not remove the left span bit. The fix is in portal.css.
 
This problem started with a surprise change in the CURVE theme for RC4. Simpleportal 2.3.3 was brought out very quickly to adress this issue, and so portal.css needs to be in the css directory of EVERY theme:
