Problems with the installation
« on: July 12, 2010, 07:25:04 PM »
Greetings...
I got a problem with the installation or rather the configuration of SimplePortal 2.3.2.
I'm using SMF2.0 RC3.
I followed the instructions but it didint work for me... and i don't know why.
The upload worked:
After the upload
The installation itself also worked fine:
Installation
The next step is my problem:
After installation
Normally i should be redirected to the SimplePortal Configuration, but instead of that i was redirected to the general SMF administration.
I hope that anybody here could help me solve that problem.
with regards NorCaine

P.S.: Sorry for my bad english :/

You might have other mods installed that interfered with the installation.
You may have to use the manual installation instructions available on the mod page.

Just go through the list of changes to make to the files that failed, find the lines that didn't get fixed, and fix them yourself.

You can do it.
