Sidebars/block question
« on: June 18, 2010, 12:26:27 AM »

Hi.

Is there possibility to make title backgrounds of left and right blocks different than title backgrounds of blocks in the middle, and to set that as a default?

SimplePortal does provide have any wy to do that. The default for all the title backgrounds is the same -- catbg.

I think the best way to achieve the look you are after, using what SimplePortal can already do, is to set the title background style for each block individually.  You may use the CSS style classes that come standard with SMF, or you may create your own variations on these styles.

Thanks , AngelinaBelle.
I know that , I thought that there was perhaps a way to put it as a default , just to make it easier for handling  :).

If you want to make a custom edit, then changing the css class which is defaulted to, should be relatively easy. Although also pointless, given that you can just change it through the SimplePortal admin area. (it doesn't take that long even for 30+ blocks...)

Sorry, I did not wont to sound like that I was complaining, when I replied to AngelinaB. it was just 'that moment's'  idea  :nervous-happy:.
I think that you have done amazing job here!
It is just that I am not good in coding, and some things that are easy for you are not that easy for me, so I have to ask.

I think Nathaniel is just suggesting that the workaround won't be too bad.
You're good.
