I am assuming you want the crowns to show up in Who's Online?
This is really a custom coding question, as neither of these mods was written with the other in mind.
Another user posted this question: http://simpleportal.net/index.php?topic=6785.msg38769#msg38769
The answer, I think, is to find where the crown mod has changed how member information is displayed.  I can see in http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?action=parse;mod=1801;attach=104894;smf_version=1.1.13
how this is done in Who.template.php and in Memberlist.template.php.  I think the change in Memberlist.template.php is easy to understand.  I think can understand how and why I would apply that change in function sp_whosOnline in PortalBlocks.php.
The only thing that remains is to add the changed code, one little piece at a time, make a lot of mistakes, and fix them. I always make a lot of mistakes when I write code. I've gotten pretty used to writing debug "echo" statements to help me figure out what I've done wrong.

Have you tried the SimplePortal documentation?

This is exactly why it's so difficult to code and support a portal mod. It's expected to support any and every mod out there.

If you want it for Who's Online block:

./SSI.php

Code: (Find) [Select]
// Load the users online right now.
Code: (Replace) [Select]
global $settings;

// Load the users online right now.

Code: (Find) [Select]
mg.onlineColor, mg.ID_GROUP
Code: (Replace) [Select]
mg.onlineColor, mg.ID_GROUP, mg.crown
Code: (Find) [Select]
'is_last' => false,
Code: (Replace) [Select]
'is_last' => false,
'crown' => empty($row['crown']) ? '' : '<img src="' . $settings['images_url'] . '/' . $row['crown'] . '" alt="" />',

./Sources/PortalBlocks.php

Code: (Find) [Select]
sp_embed_image($user['name']
Code: (Replace) [Select]
!empty($user['crown']) ? $user['crown'] : sp_embed_image($user['name']
And slowly, you come to realize... It's all as it should be...
