Read that and it works great but how do i set the block to only pull from one section of the gallery.

Example if i have a videos and images section and i only want the latest images from my images section to appear. How would i do that?

The key here is in aeva_getMediaItems. It produces the list of items to display.
Have a look in the file Aeva-Subs.php, for the function aeva_getMediaItems.
You will see the parameter $albums allows you to specify which albums to draw from.
