I've got board news in the Header I want only to appear on the forum index page and there doesn't appear to be a way of limiting this.

Also, I want to change my board news background to white and eliminate it's title.

Thanks

ric

You want to control on which pages the board news block appears?  You can control this with the advanced display options, which you can read about in our Block Editor documentation.  If that is not specific enough for you, you can also read about Custom Block Display

As for changing the formatting of the board news "blocks" -- Simple Portal is not designed to do that.  You would need to customize the "template" found in PortalBlocks.php

Have you tried the SimplePortal documentation?

thanks!

Worked like a charm.

I just went to my advance section of my php block and wrote "forum"  in the custom display and now my header does not appear in the board which is what I wanted.

Great!  I have hit the "Topic Solved" button for you.  I hope this is OK.
