Hello.  Before I begin, I'm on SMF 1.1.13 and SP 2.3.3

I've been having a couple problems with Simple Portal the past few days and I have no idea why.  I think it's a javascript problem of some sort.

First of all, my simple portal shoutbox (the default one that came with it) is messing up for no apparent reason.  For the past month, it's worked perfectly.  It's been it's own little standalone compartment deal and hasn't affected the rest of the forum.  But now when anybody posts a shout, the entire page refeshes, not just the shoutbox itself (the way it's supposed to and always has) Plus, when someone posts a shout and then hits their browser refresh button (not the shoutbox refresh), the resend information box pops up and then the shout it double posted.  So now I've had to tell all the users not to hit their browser refresh button.  Instead,  everyone has to hit the forum button tab to refresh the whole page after posting a shout.

I hope that's not too confusing.  It's hard to explain and I'm really new to a lot of this coding stuff.

Here's my board's main index page: http://thewrestlinglegendsforum.com/silverdome/index.php?action=forum

I tried to re-enable permissions for guests to view the shoutbox so someone here could check it out, but apparently that's no longer working either.  Yes, I checkmarked 'guests' on both the shoutbox config and the block itself.  So if some kind soul could register with my board just real quick so they can see the shoutbox, that would be awesome.

Another SP issue I'm having is with the block display options>advanced options.  For some reason I can no longer open 'select actions' or 'select boards' and that stinks because I want to move a custom HTML block to a specific forum only.

Here's a screenshot of that problem:

Any help with these problems would be much appreciated.  :)

Thanks,
Dave

What changed just before these problems started?

Nothing that I can think of at the moment.  Is there any way for me to review changes that have occurred with my board over the past week?

Unfortunately, no. It just really does sound like something has changed.
Both of those things use javascript, and it seems like the javascript is doing something differently than it did before.
So I was wondering if you added another mod recently, and are having some kind of javascript "collision".

Hmmm...can't point to anything off the top of my head, but I probably did add a package around the time it started messing up.  But the thing is, during that time, my wife was in the hospital for about a week and things were just a bit stressful so it's sort of hazy.  :(

I'm fairly new to the SMF game so this is probably a dumb question, but is there any sort of log that might show me what packages have been added and more importantly, when they were added?

Thanks,
Dave

I'm going to guess that the package you added around the time it started messing up MIGHT have something to do with it.
Which package was that?
Strangely, the admin log (?action=admin;area=logs;sa=adminlog;) shows SMF updates but not package installs.
