Topic: List of topic titles of one member in block

I would like to have block with list of topic titles for each member of forum, and put it on their Profile.

Instead of going to:

Profile -> Profile Info -> Show Posts... -> Topics,

to have block with this list ( only topic titles ) for each member.

Is it possible to do? How?

I like this idea. But I have an idea, instead of on their profile, how about on the main portal page?
That way, when they log in, it will be right there.

If you have a custom php block you can put it wherever you want, I suppose?
But, how to create it?

You can see, if you look at the SMF code for the profile page is written, how the "show posts" link is created.  The result is something like http://simpleportal.net/index.php?action=profile;area=showposts;u=1730

So have a look in PortalBlocks.php, in the function sp_userInfo

You can see that the user's id is stored in $user_info['id']

So it would be pretty easy to add a list item to the list of things shown in that block.

I tried to put this code in custom php block but I did not get anything as a result ?
Should I put something else together with this code, or...?

I am not sure if I understood you.
I was thinking to add to function sp_userInfo this link to show all posts.

If, instead, what you want is a "Show all Posts" block which saves a click by showing all posts as soon as you click on profile, then what you want is to call the showPosts function from Sources.
I just figured this out today by:
1) poking around in Sources/Profile.php, which led me to
2) Sources/Profile-View.php
3) Searching for "require" to make sure I was using $sourcedir correctly

If I have Member 1 and he started ( for example ) 5 Topics I would like to have block with list of these topics, like:

Topic 1
Topic 2
..
Topic 5

It does not have to be put on his profile page, it should be just block with topics of that member.

The call I suggested won't be just the thing, then, because it will only stuff the output in $context.
You will need to follow that, in a block, with code from the appropriate template, to pull the information and display it as you prefer.

I am going to be unavailable for a while.
Please find the appropriate template for the showPosts page, have a look through it, and see if you can figure out how to write a customized version of it to work with your custom block.

Give it a go, and then post some specific questions.
Right now, with schools letting out for the summer, you may either get a burst of helpful activity here, or else find that everyone has a busy summer.

If you don't see the activity you need here, please consider going to the custom coding boards at simplemachines.org.  You can let them know that you want to add a block or sidebar to the profile page, and someone will probably be able to help you through extracting and customizing the code you need to do it, even if they are completely unfamiliar with Simple Portal.
