Hello everyone.

I'm still a little new as far as working with SMF since most of my experience as been with vb and ipb.

I have been having troubles dealing with tinyportal and ezportal (it's not so ez, least for me lol)

I read a topic before on here mentioning SMF Arcade blocks but so figured I would install 2.3.5. I uploaded it but I haven't installed it yet. I went to go view the list of files and none of the blocks mentioned anything of the Arcade. Did I download the wrong version of simpleportal?

andy

When you make a new block you will see a list of block types - 'Arcade' is in the list - bottom right area.

Thanks for the quick reply andy. Yes I see the blocks after installing the portal. Problem is it's very limited.

The kind of setup I have in mind is having a section for latest games, arcade champions, most played, categories, game search, and everything else something like this arcade has which is the same arcade version I'm using.

Then you need a new block/ feature request, or custom code request - in whichever board you think is best.

Thanks for your time andy. Before I go and do requests I'm gonna try another portal and see if it has those kind of block codes or similar to it.  Thanks again for your replies :)

Linchpin,

I hope you won't mind that I have marked your topic "solved".
The answer to your question is -- no SimplePortal does not have a block to support the arcade you use, and the best place to look for help with that is in the customization boards here (and possibly at SimpleMachines.org).

If you need to re-open this support question, please use the "topic not solved" button.

I hope you are able to figure out how to support your arcade on your forum.
Please to keep this website running, if you like SimplePortal, make a
one-time subscription. Thank you for your support.

Have you tried the SimplePortal documentation?
