Sending a registration welcome email?
« on: May 07, 2014, 12:20:11 AM »
Hi there eveyrone,

We use the SimplePortal system for our forums, and we can't figure out how to have the forum automatically send a welcome email upon a person registering an application with us.

This is my last ditch effort to get it working. Currently, we have to copy and paste, and manually send the welcome email.

I'm hoping someone can help me.

Thanks!! :)

There is Welcome Topic mod http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=789 bu I did not see any Welcome email mod. Anyway this question should be asked at http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php because it is not related to SimplePortal.
SimplePortal is only modification for SMF.

Aces_pancakeman,

welcome to SimplePortal, and don't worry about clogging this forum.
For regular SMF questions, you just have a better chance of getting a quicker answer because the SMF community is so much bigger than the SimplePortal community.

Thanks for the quick answer, fapencio.

I'll mark this one solved -- you can change this, aces
