I want to be able to have the info center on the portal page so that it displays the forum stats and the users online in a bottom block. I did request just an online block but i feel the info center would be more of an advantage.

The Forum stats don't all get displayed and also it doesn't show myself as online or other guests.



As you can see the picture above is of the newly added portal block.

The picture below is of the forum at the exact same time.

That's because you're trying to reference $txt and $context members 'before' the forum actually fills them (you probably have a number of 'undefined index' errors in your error log).

Copying the template code for the display of the info is one step, but you need to make sure that the values are being filled first. And to do that you need to look at the corresponding file in Sources (Sources/BoardIndex.php). There, you'll find some code about half a page down into the BoardIndex() function:

Execute that before trying to echo out anything and see if that helps.

You'll probably need to add some more to your 'globals' line. And you may even need to require_once the BoardIndex.php file itself in order to have access to all the functions.
