Hallo zusammen,

kann es sein, dass das normale (nicht Informel) German Language Pack 2.3.3 nicht vollständig ist!?
Innerhalb der SPortalAdmin.german.php ist ab Zeile 382 Schluß!

Das gibt nach der Installation einen wunderschönen Template Parse Error und der Admin Bereich meines SMF ist nicht meht erreichbar.

Im Informal Paket sieht das schon ein wenig besser aus. Reicht es die Datei entsprechend manuell zu ersetzen oder sollte ich alle Sprachdateien mit der informellen Version ersetzten? Klappt das überhaupt.

In dem Pack war ein Umlautfehler, habe es korrigiert.

Ich weis leider nicht, wann des im Downloadbereich erreichbar sein wird, deshalb lade dir
bitte die im Anhang befindliche SPortalAdmin.german herunter und ersetze die fehlerhafte auf
dem Server mit dieser.

die Datei von dir hat schonmal einwenig geholfen...

Jedoch kommt jetzt bei mir folgender Fehler:

Bitte beachten Sie, dass einzelne Anführungszeichen (') oft mit einem Slash (\) auskommentiert werden müssen. Um nähere Informationen von PHP zu diesem Fehler zu erhalten, versuchen Sie die Seite direkt aufzurufen.

Sie können auch versuchen, die Seite zu aktualisieren oder das Standard-Theme zu benutzen.

Well... first test done,
but I got an error

What I did:
- Deinstalled the preivous version, plus the language pack
- Installed the new SP version, afterwards the new language pack.

I seen before - that it was successful, but something is wrong with the
language pack I guess.
The portal does not appear, but I can still reach the forum.
But I can't get access anymore now to the administrator panel (..slightly in panic

)
information to it is this:

Template Parse Error!
A problem occured while loading /Themes/default/languages/SPortalAdmin.german.php
(Template or languagepack)
and below:
syntax error, unexpected T_STRING

... uuuh- sorry, but I really dont know, what to do with this now

I took a look at that file. I can see it somehow got cut off before the end. It is a bad file.
I have attached a substitute for that file. I replaced the missing parts with the parts from the English version of the file.

This is not perfectl, but it should help your forum work again.
I have split this topic, since this problem with the language file is a bad bug, and different from your original question.

Well, be glad you didn't see me yesterday ... ^^
trying to fix the language pack

And- I finally gave up.
Sorry to say, but even the file you send me, didn't work -
I did reach the admin panel using your file, but in the instant I would klick on the configuration
of the SP - I got the blank page again with (whatever...)error information.

Now, since it seems to affect only the admin panel -
meaning, only there the whole SP block is in englisch - it's not really THAT important.

I deinstalled the language pack completely and I will leave it in englisch -
my second admin is going to have to deal with it

For now, its ok like this, but I guess the german language pack needs to be fixed

aber als kleiner Hinweis:
Das "german-language-pack" hat scheinbar einen Fehler.

Ich persönlich kann wohl darauf verzichten, da mein Englisch recht gut ist ^^
aber, falls ihr nachvollziehen möchtet, was passiert ist...

I'm sorry that didn't work. I did test that file, freestanding, but not installed.
Uninstalling the German Language pack was your best plan, I guess.

Hab ich grad zufällig entdeckt hier

Der Fehler wurde bereits gemeldet :

Ich hab's vorerst so gelöst,
das ich das german.language pack wieder deinstalliert habe,
damit ist NUR im Adminbereich die Konfig zum SP in Englisch,
das Portal funktioniert auch so einwandfrei.

Greets from Germany.

Same thing did happen to me. i took a look into it and found out,2 Files are cut in the middle.

SPortalAdmin.german.php
SPortalHelp.german.php

File SPortal.german.php seems to be ok.

You should disable download possibility for this language pack.Its still corrupt.

Atm i am fixing both files quickly and im translating them again.

If everything is fine and working, you can have a fresh working german Translation.

Oh, and great Script btw

Ich biete mich an Threads zu übersetzen, Supportanfragen usw und kann mit soliden PHP/HTML/Java Kenntnissen dienen.

Hab es gefixt. Funktioniert und das Problem betraf ursprünglich 2 Dateien.

auch die SPortalHelp.german.php

Hier hab ich den gefixten Language Pack angehangen. Ist übersetzt, aber mit wenig Zeit , also für Übersetzungsfehler keine Haftung lach.

Den Fehler im Pack habe ich korregiert und das SP-Team darauf hingewiesen, ich weis aber nicht, ob sie es auf der Downloadseite hier schon ausgetauscht haben.

Da diverse Topic aufgetaucht sind, unter anderem auch im englischen Board , habe ich die Themen verschoben und zusammengeführt.

Manu überarbeitet derzeit die Deutschen Sprachpakete , bis dahin könnt ihr - damit euer Portal auf Deutsch funktioniert, diesen Notfall Sprachpack von mir verwenden, der schnell und dürftig ins deutsche übersetzt wurde, da in den Original Dateien aufgrund eines Umlautfehlers die sportalhelp.german.php und die sportaladmin.german.php mittendrin abgeschnitten wurden und es so zu einer Fehlermeldung kommt.

Vorläufiger Sprachpack hier : Download German Du Version [Notpackage]

Bis dahin markiere ich das Topic als erledigt.

Das sprachpaket installiert wie man es normal macht. aber hab im admin menü keine auswahl sondern nur englisch weiß wer rat?

Hast Du das Sprachpaket über den Paketmanager installiert? Und wenn ja, welches ? Das aus dem Downloadbereich oder meines ?

Du solltest im ACP unter Einstellungen die Option haben zwischen Englisch und Deutsch (Du Form) wählen zu können.

Hilfreich wäre unter anderem ein Link zu deiner Site, etc.

Du solltest im ACP unter folgendem Link

http://deinedomain.com/index.php?action=admin;area=languages;sa=settings;

das Sprachmenü zum hinzufügen, einstellen der Sprache haben. Wobei "yourdomain.com" durch deine zu ersetzen ist.

Solltest du die Sprache nicht verfügbar haben. packe den Sprachpack separat als Zip Datei per FTP in das Verzeichnis Packages.

Und schau ob der Paketmanager das German Paket als solches erkennt.
