Hi...

Is there a way how to adjust the writing area of the SP Shoutbox?

I want to adjust the size of it more higher than the original height...

TYIA...

AngelinaBelle

You want it to be 2 lines high instead of 1 line? Something like that?

This can be controlled in CSS. You can see this by looking at the HTML for this page.  This shoutbox input has class="shoutbox_input..., and you can change the width for that in porta.lcss, which is found in the theme's css folder.

Have you tried the SimplePortal documentation?

ysNoi

Yes.. That's what I want...

Thanks for the reply AngelinaBelle...

However, changing the width: 65% to width: 90% in portal.css for example increases the width but not the height which I am looking for.

Can I make it this way?

}
input.shoutbox_input
{
   width: 70%;
        height: 10px;
}

You should experiment and see what setting you like.
