  • {OCS}MasterSeal: I know this SB isnt' for support, but I just have a general question. Who would I contact to find out where SP stores its block info? Is it DB driven or files? I searched the site but came up with nothing. probably my fault any insight is appreciated.

this is what i am trying to do
i have the mod (Board Attachments) found here http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2523

i want to add the code from here http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/crawler/index.htm

it will make this mode look so much better

yes i know that i should post in the mod support section at smf been there did that.
i get better help from here so

I would advise you to start this way:
 
Start with an HTML block. Figure out that marquee/crawler code, using some static set of images as in the example.
 
Then move into php. moving from html to php is easy.  You just do

Once you've got that working, then you work on, instead of wrapping the specially-named divs around a list of images, wrapping it around the "box" created by the mod.
 
You can definitely handle this, if you take it one step at a time.

No -- you just need to wrap that wrapper around the output from your mod.
The mod already fetches images for you.
