Want block to show up on board indexes, but not topic= or action=post

im needing a block to only show up on board indexes, not topic=something, or action=post.

i tried several different ways and im not even sure if the block can even take multiple arguments.

thx in advance for the help.

For this, you want one of the advanced display options -- the Custom Display Options box.
There's a nice help box when you click the (?).

You would want to put into that input field: forum, ~board, -~action|post, -~topic

Or, perhaps you don't want ~board? I'm not certain, but I bet you can figure it out.
