Hello,

I am using SMF 1.1.13.  SP 2.3.3.  I had to manaully install everything but it is all working except I have no right side blocks.  If I add them I have the option to collapse them with the button on top but nothing happens.  Any ideas?  Here is a linik to my site www.theboatspot.com
epymkv

Thanks

It looks like your right side bar is very, very narrow.
What width did you use?

Have you tried the SimplePortal documentation?

#2
It is fixed.  It was not showing up and then it just appeared on its own ;D

Thank you for the quick response..

Correction, it is not showing when users use IE7.  Other browsers seem to display it fine. :(

AngelinaBelle

Now, I don't see it with IE7, IE8, or Safari. You've turned SimplePortal off?
If you set up a test forum, you can leave it running.
Just let me know, and I'll take another look at it.

No it is not turned off i had it integrated.  I will put it back on front page, sorry.

In portal.css, you've got
#sp_center{
width: 100%
(etc.)
}

That's your problem.
You want the left and right bars to take up the specified width, and the center area to be allowed whatever remains.

If the center area takes up 100%, there's technically no room for the two bars at all.

That version of portal.css is not appropriate for an SMF 1.1.x forum.

You'll be better off when you take out that one line.
