  • {OCS}MasterSeal: I know this SB isnt' for support, but I just have a general question. Who would I contact to find out where SP stores its block info? Is it DB driven or files? I searched the site but came up with nothing. probably my fault any insight is appreciated.

Weird Problem

Hi.
I registered to a forum that uses SimplePortal 2.3.3..... I get a very strange problem after my post count rises to a thousand. Until then everything seemed fine, but when i just hit that margin of 1000 posts......Many tabs and columns are missing from my homepage. I am not able to view the shoutbox, nor the recent posts column, or even view my profile information.

I am not a forum admin for that website, however. I am just a registered member who is experiencing this type of a problem. Should anything be done from the forum admin's side to curb the problem?

This is not a SimplePortal error.

Looks like the Admin give not the right permissions for (post-based?) Membergroups.

Ask him about the permissions-settings for your membergroup. He need to check that.
