I am sorry to say that I have not had the opportunity to beta test this RC candidate.

I am going to suggest starting at index.php?action=admin;area=portalconfig;sa=generalsettings

And then poking around to look for shoutbox-related settings.

Have you tried the SimplePortal documentation?

I am sorry. I don't know enough about the new version yet.  I'll ask the devs and testers if they know.

There is no user interface for this setting but you can changing the following code:

Sources/Subs-Portal.php

Code: (Find) [Select]
'spsbp' => 2,
You can the number 2 with the limit you want to set.
And slowly, you come to realize... It's all as it should be...

Oops, sorry. Yeah, $time_limit variable is used for users with allow_admin permissions but you'll still need the change the code I mentioned for non-admins.

The warning is at the end of the SPortal.english.php file. Search for 'error_sp_flood_spsbp' in the file.
And slowly, you come to realize... It's all as it should be...
