Custom Pages: BBC and HTML
« on: May 07, 2010, 08:57:34 AM »
Hey guys! I'm making a custom page with BBC, but now I want to add a PAYPAL form. I need to add the form with html, but I can I use BBC and HTML in the same custom page?

Thanks in advance  :D

as far as I know yes, you can add bbc and html as long as you don't mixed.

but the best way to find out is to try.

If you have enabled the [html] tag, at you may be able to put the html between [html] tags.

Otherwise, you could convert ypur page to html, and use an external editor (even notepad) to help you replace bbc with html.

I goto: Post and Topics > Bulletin Board Code
Then I turned on "Enable basic HTML in posts" which shouldn't change anything because it's only the basic commands. When I check the BBC's then Html is checked on (X) So I don't see why It dosen't work.

You need to use the [html][/html] tags to enclose the HTML for the paypal button code. If that does not work, then you may need to convert the page to HTML for it to work.
Ms. Eliana TamerinIt should be painfully obvious by now that I don't respond to support PMs. Don't send me PMs for support. They will be ignored and deleted, post on the Support Boards to get support.

That works in BBC blocks but not in BBC pages. I'm sorry I lost track of that difference.

You can change to HTML, or you can add a top or bottom HTML block to that page.

That, or you could make a custom bbcode for the paypal button. :P

fixed -- were you able to convert your page to HTML, or to add an HTML block to your custom page?
