Topic: [SOLVED] Just Installed SP 2.1.1

Hi everyone, I`m new with SMF and SP so Im trying to learn everything for it cuz it really different everything from phpbb and ipb so anyway... I downloaded SMF 1.1.8 and I installed SP 2.1.1 with the Package Manager everything seems to be OK but I cant find anywhere the SIMPLEPORTAL tab to conf it ... I looked everywhere in the admin zone ... can someone give me a hand here I will be really greatfull

are you using another language  besides english

try to put your forum to english language and see if the simpleportal admin appears

yes, I changed my language to english and I even put the default SMF template... it still doesnt show me new tab

have you tried to uninstall and then re-install

Well no, I tryed this now but look, Its like everything is okay but its not see the pics and please tell that u know how to fix it

It looks like you did som changes after you installed simpleportal, maybe you upload new files thats why you see simpleportal is installed but, it isnt, try to unistall, forget about the errors, and install again.

all the errors that you get is because you made changes to the files and now there is no simpleportal code in them so, is like you have not installed

try to just unistall and re-install

Ok I made a backup, and upgrade to 2.0 RC1 but now when I try to install SP it show me in the start

Well, it is quite impossible for you to get that error, if you are trying to install version 2.2. If you are sure that you are installing the correct version, you can pm an admin account if you want me to check it.

Last time I checked, Package Manager didn't made the edits on your files. I suggest making them manually using the manual installation instructions.
