Another problem, link to categories
« on: April 10, 2009, 11:25:25 AM »
Hi again, when I click on a category name it doesn't get me there but the link changes to Main Page ----> Forum and it's empty. If I disable the Portal then it's working. Can you please help ? Many thanks.

maybe is sitll the conflict between ez and simpleportal, you have to chek all the files that ez changed or if you dont want to do that
and you dont have any mods instaled besides simpleportal, you could unistall simpleportal and then upload a new copy of 2.0, all the files exept  settings, settings_bak and install.php then re-install simpleportal and that should work

would you please post the list of errors that you get and if is possible could you attach the files so I could clean the files from ez code

I guest there are many of them, so dont post languages files just the ones from sources  and your index.php too

edit:  here is your load file, could you attach your

./Sources/ManagePermissions.php
./Sources/Admin.php  and
./index.php

I only get errors from a "Thanks" mod so I think we are clear there. Here I am including some files. If you need anything else just tell me. Thanks.

here is yous admin, ManagePermissions.php and index.php

now you have to delete all the language strings of ez portal from

Modifications.english.php  and

Who.english.php

alll the strings that have "ezportal"  example:

$txt['permissionname_ezportal_page'] = 'Manage Pages';
$txt['permissionhelp_ezportal_page'] = 'Allows adding,editing,and deleting of pages.';
$txt['cannot_ezportal_page'] = 'You are not allowed to manage EzPortal pages.';

Still I get nothing. Take a look at the screenshot. This is what I see when I click on a category.

A link to your forum please. It is hard to guess by just looking at a screen shot.
And slowly, you come to realize... It's all as it should be...
