lo que quiero es colocar un bloque en la parte superio de todos los bloques ojala que sea un bloque que soporte html para colocar un carusel de jquery
me gustaria que quedara asi como la imagen adjunta
solo nesisto el bloque por lo del carusel no se preocupen ya lo tengo

actualmente sp portal no puede hacer eso, sin embargo si es posible hacerlo con u cambio en el archivo index.template.php de el theme que estes usando, adjunta ese archivo y el codigo de el carrusel

a un que en un theme encontre un codigo como este puesto en el index.templete y funciona mas homeno pero asiendole una modificasion

ok, al hacer la modificacion en tu index.template.php el bloque aparecera en todos lados, en el portal, en el foro, en todos lados, se me olvido preguntarte si lo querias solo en el portal, en ese caso, habra que editar el archivo Portal.template.php te adjunto ambos, como no lo probé, quizás tengas que hacerle algunos cambios estéticos

hola y grasias por la solucion bueno las dos me sirven pero el problema es que el carusel no funciona y solo funciona si activo otro bloque en html con el codigo se activa.

Lo que yo pienso que en el codigo que se introdujo en el portal.templete y index.templete no yama al achivos js y la oja de estilo del efecto y como despues activo el bloque con el codigo original se activa por alcance de nombre bueno no se si sera asi

espero tu respuesta muchas grasias

pd: estoy ocupando el portal.templete

de esa manera el template ya estará llamando a los js y el css solo asegurate de que las rutas sean las correctas

hola que tal ahora tengo otro problema al introducir el codigo que me diste me da error lo revise por si le faltara una llave o algo pero todo esta bien no se que podra ser espero tu respuesta muchas grasias

te marca error porque las comillas simples ' en smf debe de ser reemplazadas por \' para que el script no termine prematuramente, prueba con este
