  • {OCS}MasterSeal: I know this SB isnt' for support, but I just have a general question. Who would I contact to find out where SP stores its block info? Is it DB driven or files? I searched the site but came up with nothing. probably my fault any insight is appreciated.

Numero de mensajes fijo en bloque recent topics

He visto muchas consultas sobre este bloque en particular, pero no veo nada relativo a lo que me sucede.

Este bloque no muestra el nº de mensajes que le indico en la opción correspondiente, sino que muestra un nº variable en función, imagino, de si los mensajes son más o menos antiguos.

Lo que a mi me interesaría es que siempre mostrara el nº de mensajes que se le indica, independientemente del día en que se hayan actualizado.

la verdad no tengo idea de porque SMF  restringe la query que se encarga de sacar los temas mas recientes en SSI.php

SimplePortal  utiliza SSI.php para ese bloque, ahora mismo no tengo con que probarlo, pero puedes cambiar esto en tu archivo SSI.php:

'min_message_id' => $modSettings['maxMsgID'] - 35 * min($num_recent, 5),


cambiando el 35 y el 5 de acuerdo a lo que buscas.

Pues muchísimas gracias.
La solución he sido perfecta.
Para no andarme con líos, he cambiado ambas cifras por un 100, y ahora el nº de temas que salen en el bloque es exactamente el que indico en su opción correspondiente.

Cada vez me gusta más SimplePortal, y no sólo por su gran potencia y flexibilidad, sino también por la gente que ayudaís con los pequeños problemas de una manera tan rápida y eficaz.

Para mí el tema está solucionado.  No sé si tengo que marcarlo yo así de alguna manera, o sois vosotros.

justo arriba de la caja de respuesta rápida (quick Reply)  hay una serie de botones, uno de ellos se llam "Topic solved"  da click en ese boton cuando tu tema se haya solucionado.
