Hello:

I was wondering if there is a conversion program that I can run to convert posts into pages. If I just had a few posts to turn over to pages I would not ask this question, but I have a ton of posts, and I need something quicker to do the job.

Thanks

you already ask this:  http://simpleportal.net/index.php?topic=6812.msg38682#msg38682

did the solution on that post didn't do the job?

Do you really want a "ton" of pages?

So far as I know, nobody has written anything to take the content of a post and create a page.
But you could do this. Start with a list of msg_ids, associate a page_id with each msg_id.

Next, you'd have to get the message contents (you could even use ssi_fetchPosts to get the post contents and other information).

After that, you'd need the code to actually create a custom bbc page, and only if it is a new topic.
Please to keep this website running, if you like SimplePortal, make a
one-time subscription. Thank you for your support.

Have you tried the SimplePortal documentation?

Hello:

Thank you for taking the time to help me on this. Yes it does do the job very well. I was just looking for a way to automate the process.

Thanks

Thanks
